How Dahookia started, what makes a private lesson different from a group lesson, and who we are today.
Davit and Andranik grew up in Tsaghkadzor and have been skiing on the same slopes since childhood. For years, they taught friends and acquaintances without bookings, simply because they explained things more clearly than instructors in large groups. When more people wanted to learn than they had free time for, they started Dahookia and began building their own team of instructors.
The difference from a group lesson is not the price, but the attention. In a group, one instructor watches everyone, while with us, one instructor works with one student or family. You choose the time, and the instructor adjusts the pace and lesson plan to you. They see what you find difficult and adjust the approach right away.

Who we are
The school was founded by two instructors who have been skiing since childhood.
The name Dahookia comes from the Armenian word “dahuk” (ski). Andranik and David were born and raised in Tsaghkadzor, where they learned to ski from a young age at the local sports school. Later, they became instructors and realized that they wanted to teach in their own way — without groups of 12 and without rushing. We focus on giving every student individual attention.
